Otaru of Auchi Sacred Kingdom, His Royal Highness, Alh. Aliru H. Momoh, Ikelebe III, has received medical items worth N200 million from Auchi Daughters in the United States of America.
Gatekeepers News reports that His Highness on Saturday received a 20 feet container containing not less than 50 hospital beds amongst other items at the Royal Palace.
The Auchi Daughters sent the medical items in a bid to help improve healthcare service for the people back at home and His Highness, because of this unique gesture, is donating the same to the Central Hospital to help lift the face of the health facility and improve healthcare delivery to the people of Auchi particularly and Edo state in general.
The items aside 50 hospital beds are 7 Vital Signs Machines, 20 Bedside Commodes, 11 Wheelchairs, 150 Tissue Dispensers, 13 Walking Canes, Walkers and Crutches, 30 Boxes of 40 Face Shields each, 6 Boxes of syringes, A&D, 12 BP Monitors, 20 BP Cuffs for Adults, Children and Infants and Tongue Blades.
Other items include Laptops, 13 Microscopes, 100 Hospital Blankets, 4 Shower Chairs, 120 IV Poles, Hospital Patients Bags, Patient Combs, Toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, Shaving Creams and more.
According to Auchi Blog, the Noble Monarch inspected the items and, after being certified that they were of world acceptable international standard, thanked the donors.
He showered them with royal prayers and encouraged them together with every other well-meaning son and daughter in the Diaspora to drive home what would benefit the people.
During Otaru in Council (OiC) meeting last Sunday, His Highness informed the gathering how Hauwa (Hauwa Nee Momoh), the daughter of Hajia Kekinetu, sponsored the process, having promised to send the items home some months back and thanked God for the successful delivery of the items despite the huddles that have laid in the way.
He also acknowledged the efforts of Chief Dauda Giwa, a.k.a Levi, for weighing in to ensure that some of the stumbling blocks that hampered the process were lifted for the good of his people.
