Political activist, Aisha Yesufu has advised Nigerians to chase President Muhammadu Buhari out of Aso Rock.
Gatekeepers News reports that Aisha who wondered what Buhari is doing in the office despite the rising insecurity in the country, advised Nigerians, especially the Northerners, to use the broom which represents the symbol of his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), to “sweep his legs out.”
In her words: “What is Buhari still doing in office. Buhari should be chased out of the Villa. They will carry the broom, sweep his legs out.”
Aisha’s comment follows the incessant attacks and kidnappings on the Kaduna-Abuja expressway as the security agents appear helpless.
Just on Sunday, an APC chieftain in Zamfara, Sagir Hamida was killed on the road and many people kidnapped. Kaduna State commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan said security operatives were able to rescue 11 people when they got to the scene of the attack while some other travellers were still held by the gunmen.
Reacting in a video, Aisha said: “What is wrong with us? Why is Muhammadu Buhari still the President of Nigeria? Are we going to wait until we are all dead before we do something?
“Dead people cannot talk, dead people cannot do anything.
“This is the time to do something.
“He is destroying the country for our children, grandchildren. And we are sitting down at home, doing nothing.
“Northern people, where are you. Life does not matter. Where is the secured north?
She also asked the National Assembly to impeach him, saying nothing will happen.
“The people in the North are tired of him.”
