Federal Government of Nigeria has recalled officers of GL12 and below back to work.
Gatekeepers News reports that the federal government has directed officers on GL12 and below who have been working from home to return to work physically on December 1, 2021.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Esan on Friday.
The Officers on GL12 and below were earlier directed to work from home as part of measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
The statement further stated that “in line with the recommendation of the Committee on COVID-19, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the vaccine mandate policy.
“All Federal Government employees would therefore be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result done within 72hours.”
“All public officers who are yet to be vaccinated are advised to visit the following centres:
In Abuja: Federal Staff Clinic, Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase I;
Federal Staff Clinic, Federal Secretariat Complex, Phase II; Federal Ministry of Works and Housing Clinic; Federal Ministry of Finance Staff Clinic; and Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development Staff Clinic.
Others: Other centres nationwide, can be found on the website of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency(NPHCDA).
The statement further all Permanent Secretaries and Heads Of Government Agencies and Extra-Ministerial Offices to bring this notice to the attention of staff under them.
