Former Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, has lost his mother, Maria Oredola Igbinedion.
Gatekeepers News reports that Oredola who died on Thursday at 85 was a scion of ‘Ogbebor N’ Usen family in Ovia North East Local Government Area of the state.
Chief Lucky who is her eldest son said the burial arrangement of the octogenarian, who survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, will be announced later by the family.
The Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, fathered Lucky Igbinedion, who governed the state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) between 1999 and 2007.
