Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise to 214,622

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise as 55 new cases were recorded by the NCDC on Sunday.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new cases are from 6 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The NCDC noted that Lagos State reported the highest infections of the day with 37 new cases, followed by Edo (6), Osun (5), Oyo (4), Ogun (2), Ekiti (1).

Till date, 214,622 cases have been confirmed, 207,450 cases have been discharged and 2,980 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
