Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose to 215,164 on Wednesday with 268 new infections.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.
The fresh cases were recorded in 10 States; Lagos-225, Rivers-17, Enugu-10, Edo-5, Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Oyo-2, Kaduna-1, Bayelsa-1 and Delta-1.
The NCDC added that Wednesday’ report includes:
▪️225 confirmed cases reported for Lagos state for 7th December 2021
▪️3 confirmed cases reported for Bauchi state for 7th December 2021
▪️1 confirmed case reported for Bayelsa state for 7th December 2021
▪️1 confirmed case reported for Delta state for 7th December 2021
▪️5 discharged cases reported for Bayelsa state for 7th December 2021
▪️2 discharged cases reported for Lagos state for 7th December 2021
▪️3 states with zero cases reported: Ondo, Osun, Sokoto
As of December 8th, Nigeria has recorded 207,520 recoveries and 2,980 deaths.
