As part of efforts to put smiles on people’s faces ahead of Christmas, DOKS Foundation is set to hold a health and social outreach at Itedo Community, Lekki 1, Lagos Southwest Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigerians who have access to healthcare outweigh the population of those who don’t.
DOKS Foundation identified that only 43% of Nigerians have assess to quality healthcare, leaving the poor and less privileged unattended to.
On this course was DOKS Foundation established in September 2021, to reach out to this category of people medically and socially.
The forthcoming outreach targeted at 500 people will hold at Itedo Community, Lekki 1 on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
According to a statement, the outreach “plans to give assistance and support to the low-income earners by providing these services valued at over N50,000 per person (for everyone who requires all the services).
“Highlights include blood pressure check, blood sugar check, malaria test, urine analysis, consultation, rapid test for Covid 19, ECG and ultrasound scan. This we will provide for free including free drugs.”
