Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 240374

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases on Wednesday rose to 240,374 with 1,355 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.

Lagos State, Southwest part of the country, led the infection chart with 1,036 cases.

Others are; Nasarawa-92, Delta-58, FCT-57, Edo-44, Rivers-25, Kano-23, Enugu-11, Plateau-6 and Bayelsa-3.

NCDC, in its report, added that Wednesday’s report includes:

1,036 cases reported for Lagos state are in addition to report for 28th (529) and 29th (507) December, 2021

0 case reported from Sokoto State

As of December 29th, 2021, Nigeria has recorded 213,491 recoveries and 3,028 deaths.
