Nigerian music star Teni narrowly escaped alleged kidnap attempt during her performance in Rivers State.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigerian entertainer, Teni was almost kidnapped while performing on stage. A video of the incident was captured on camera and shared online, leaving many perturbed about her safety and state of mind.
The singer was a guest artiste at a show in Buguma, Rivers State and moments into her performance, what is alleged to be an attempt to kidnap her was foiled by her security detail.
Eyewitnesses who were present at the event narrated that the singer’s security fired a round of gunshots as people scampered for safety. In a video that captures the scary moment, Teni is seen performing to cheering fans and seconds later, things took a different turn and gunshots rented the air.
An eyewitness revealed that people were rushed to the clinic because of the stampede. and when a user asked if indeed, they tried to kidnap the singer, the eyewitness replied affirmatively and stated that it was at that moment Teni’s security started shooting rounds of ammunition.
