Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 791 new cases of Covid-19 in 13 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Gatekeepers News reports that the NCDC made this known through its daily reports for Thursday, January 6.
The record, according to the commission include; Lagos (523), FCT (84), Oyo(48), Ondo (35), and Kano (22).
Others are; Borno (16), Delta (15), Edo (15), Ogun (9), Jigawa (7), Bauchi (6), Plateau (5), Rivers (4), and Bayelsa (2)
The pandemic has so far, claimed 3,066 lives across the country since its outbreak in 2020.
The total number of discharged cases was also recorded to be 217,509.
