Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (retd.), has lost his first wife, Hajiya Zainab Marwa.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was disclosed in a statement by the Marwa’s family.
The statement said Zainab Marwa died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness.
She was 66 years old at the time of her death.
The statement added that a burial arrangement will be announced at a later date by the family.
The deceased is survived by four children, ten grandchildren, siblings and aged mother.
