Ebonyi State Governor, South East Nigeria, Dave Umahi has also informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his presidential ambition.
Gatekeepers News reports that Umahi disclosed this to State House correspondents after meeting behind closed doors with the President.
Umahi’s declaration is coming barely 24 hours after the national leader of the All Progressives Congress is, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest for 2023 presidential election.
Umahi had in a shocking move defected from the PDP to the ruling party in 2021.
