2023: Ahamefula Njoku Drums Support For Igbo Presidency
Lawyer and political analyst, Ahamefula Njoku has called for support for the emergence of an Igbo president in the 2023 General Elections.

Gatekeepers News reports that Barr Njoku, in a statement he personally signed on Tuesday, pledged his support for all Igbo candidates irrespective of their political parties as he urged Nigerians to vote for Presidential candidates from the South-East.

Njoku also commended the former secretary of the federal government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim and Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi for declaring their intention to run for the office of the President of Nigeria.

The statement reads:

I wish to reiterate my support for all Igbo Presidential Candidates irrespective of their political parties.

I hereby commend Sen Anyim Pius Anyim of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Governor Dave Umahi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for declaring their intention to run for the office of the President of Nigeria.

I call on other candidates from the South East to formally declare their intention to run immediately without any further delay.

I also wish to commend the Igbo Apex Socio-cultural Group, Ohaneze Ndigbo for throwing it’s weight behind the need for Nigerians to vote a President from the South East in the 2023 Presidential elections.

I urge all Nigerians in the interest of fairness, equity and national unity to vote for a Presidential candidate from the South-East.
