Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 249586

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases on Wednesday rose to 249,586 with 432 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its daily update on coronavirus.

Lagos State, Southwest part of the country, led the infection chart with 163 cases.

Others are; Rivers (109),Imo (27), Edo (16), Kaduna (15), Kwara (14), FCT (13), Oyo (13), Kano (12), Akwa Ibom (10), Delta (10), Bauchi (9), Jigawa (9), Ekiti (8), and Borno (4).

As of January 12, 2021, Nigeria has recorded 220,839 recoveries and 3,092 deaths.
