Covid-19: Nigeria Records 267 New Cases As Infection Hits 250,628 

Nigeria has recorded 267 New Covid-19 cases and 3 deaths as infection hits 250,628.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 250,628 as 267 new cases and 6 deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 15th of January 2022.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 223,765 cases have been discharged and 3,095 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 10 states, with Delta State, Southern Nigeria, having the highest with 160 new cases.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
