Nigeria has recorded 29 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 251,959.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 251,959 as 29 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday 22nd of January 2022.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 225,946 cases have been discharged and 3124 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 8 states, with Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, having the highest with 27 new cases.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
