Nigeria has recorded 537 New Covid-19 cases and no deaths as infection hits 252,187.
Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 252,187 as 537 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, 23rd of January 2022.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 226,408 cases have been discharged and 3,124 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 13 and the FCT states, with the FCT having the highest with 110/+ new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Gombe had 38, Lagos-32, Osun-14, Taraba-12, Imo-5,Kaduna-5, Rivers-4, Borno-2, Kano-2, Bauchi-1, Delta-1, Ekiti-1, Ogun-1.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
