President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday, February 17, visit Nasarawa State
Gatekeepers News reports that the state government has commenced preparations towards hosting the President on a two-day working visit next month.
Governor Abdullahi Sule disclosed made this known on Thursday during the first state expanded executive council meeting.
According to the governor, information has reached the state government indicating that President Buhari is billed to visit Nasarawa State on February 17 and 18.
To this end, Governor Sule said adequate preparation is being put in place to welcome the President.
“With that announcement, there are certain things we have to put in place, to accord the President a deserved welcome,” he stated.
He commended members of the state executive council, particularly commissioners, who are doing their best to assist the administration to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
The governor expressed his satisfaction with the performance of some of the commissioners who hit the ground running after their inauguration.
