Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise to 253,181

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise as 158 new cases were recorded by the NCDC on Monday.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new cases are from 11 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The NCDC noted that Anambra State reported the highest infections of the day with 82 new cases, followed by Lagos (35), Akwa Ibom (13), Cross River (7).

Others include; Kwara (6), FCT (5), Gombe (3), Kaduna (3), Bayelsa (2), Kano (1), Nasarawa (1).

Till date, 253,181 cases have been confirmed, 229,315 cases have been discharged and 3,136 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
