Job Title: MedAssist Product Manager / Operation

Location: Lagos

Reports to: Head Resource Mobilization / Head of Operations

Position Summary

  • The responsibilities of MedAssist Operations personnel are to manage and coordinate the people, process, product, and innovation of the MedAssist Program.
  • The candidate is to drive the entirety of the MedAssist initiative, handling it as a business enterprise/profit venture, overseeing activities of all medical practitioners and doctors (Full time & Volunteers) on the MedAssist telemedicine program, while ensuring compassionate, effective, and efficient delivery of high-quality service to all stakeholders.

Job Description
Sales/Business Development:

  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of set goals
  • Seek and drive funding strategies, new business opportunities, and marketing initiatives, contact potential clients for MedAssist
  • Set and exceed yearly and monthly sales targets for MedAssist
  • Continuous work with management on the strategy and expansion of MedAssist
  • Overall Coordination, supervision management of MedAssist
  • Build expansion plan, strategy, and design for the MedAssist Initiative.
  • Research the market trends to identify the customer demand for MedAssist products.
  • Support management in contract development, customer negotiations, and product enhancements.
  • Coordinate with management to review and improve current relevant business development activities.

Operations / Administration:

  • Establish and manage daily activities of clinical team members and operations that support and implement the MedAssist Initiative.
  • Establish monthly deliverables and work schedules with the call centre supervisor and the clinical team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the process workflow, scripts, and standard operating procedure (SOP) and also ensure compliance by all medical practitioners as well as train them on it.
  • Ensure clinical policies and procedures comply with current state and federal regulations and also create processes on how the team can be coordinated and the project executed successfully.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound call and emails responses to assess agent’s demeanour, customer service performance, and conformity to training manuals and procedures.
  • Regular review of script for the medical practitioners on the system in line with stipulated medical protocol as they emerge.
  • In charge of recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers and clinical team members
  • Responsible for the development and continuous training of the clinical team on the program.
  • Monitor daily performance of clinical team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
  • Evaluate the performance of clinical team members and conduct verbal and written performance evaluations at least weekly in the first month and discretionary moving forward.
  • Preparing reports and analyzing data to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated, and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage procurement, logistics, workflow management and propose solutions to improve procedures
  • Any other assigned task.

Job Qualifications / Skills

  • Master’s in Business Management or an MBA, Information Technology & Sales, Marketing and Business Development, Medical MBA, or any related course.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Business Manager in a startup or similar position
  • Proven and quantifiable experience in business growth and development, business acumen, marketing and sales experience.
  • I.T Savvy and ability to understand the technology and work with different software
  • Initiative and negotiation skills
  • Experience in TeleMedicine/Call centre or customer care will be a plus
  • Good Administrative, planning, and presentation skills
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills
  • Fluency in a language.

Job Title: NGO Hub Coordinator

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Position Summary

  • Qualified candidate will be working as a senior member of a diverse team to manage the coordination and implementation of the designated projects/Programs outsourced to the hub.
  • He/she will be providing leadership, strategic partnership and direction, resource mobilization/management, and evaluation of all aspects of the Hub.

Job Description
Project Management:

  • Serve as the middle man between MMF and International NGOs seeking to outsource some aspects of their humanitarian work in Nigeria and Africa at large.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the NGO Hub.
  • Oversee the overall implementation of the designated project(s) in partnership with international processes, provide consultation, assign relevant Project Officer(s) and ensure objectives are met within the required time frame and budget.
  • Spearhead project ideation, development, and execution of project deliverables, budgeting, action plans, etc.
  • Manage a comprehensive activity plan for the designated project(s), including resource needs analysis and resource mobilization.
  • Provide leadership and support Program Officers(s) in day-to-day decision-making as required.
  • Ensure that regular monitoring and evaluation assessments against project objectives are conducted and reports made to all stakeholders
  • Ensure swift, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of activities to international/national partners, management, and other relevant bodies
  • Ensure all relevant documents related to all programs are produced and filed according to MMF guidelines

Representation:

  • Promote MMF Hub initiative to interested government agencies, International bodies, CSR arms of multinationals, etc, and highlight the goals and benefits of partnership with the hub.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders (e.g. beneficiaries, community leaders, local and national government officials, donors, UN agencies, and other NGOs) and represent MMF at relevant meetings (e.g. state and local government, sector-coordination and security) in order to facilitate and ensure cooperation and partnerships.

Financial Management:

  • Sourcing for funding opportunities for running and operations of the hub, preparing and following through proposals for resource mobilization
  • Plan and construct the budgets for the designated projects, in collaboration with the relevant program officer(s) in accordance with donor guidelines, ensuring that budgets are spent according to donor proposals and regulations and within the appropriate timeframe, making any adjustment recommendations to management.

Staff Management:

  • Ensure all personnel-related issues for hub staff are properly managed. This includes recruitment, appraisal, objective setting, development and training, disciplinary action, etc.
  • Ensure that staff receive appropriate and adequate training by providing mentoring and coaching
  • Hold regular team meetings and, through a consultative leadership style and a transparent, honest, and supportive communication structure, develop and build an effective team
  • Regularly assess and provide feedback and recommendations on the quality of the programs and interventions after field visits.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and operations.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Management, Project Management, NGO/ Development management, MBA, or any related course.
  • Minimum of 6 years NGO work experience with at least 2 years as an NGO coordinator or similar position
  • Experience in Proposal writing and pursuance, monitoring and evaluation
