The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared a one-month warning strike.
Gatekeepers News reports that this was declared at a press conference addressed by the President of ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, on Monday.
The announcement is coming after a two-day meeting of the union’s National Executive Council (NEC) at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, Southwest Nigeria.
Osodeke said the industrial action, which begins immediately, is “comprehensive and total”.
