Lighthouse Pathfinders Elects Tunde Madehin As President

Lighthouse Pathfinders a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has elected Tunde Madehin as its President.

Gatekeepers News reports that Madehin was elected alongside seven other officers to run the affairs of the association for the next 2 years.

The Electoral Committee Chairman, Akorede Ojomu who spoke on behalf of the Committee said the officers have been elected and returned at its election held on the 15th to 16th February 2022 to form a new Executive Committee of the Association:

Babatunde Madehin – President

Folashade Ajibola Joseph -Vice President

Sulaimon Shina Ishola -General Secretary

Bola Otusanya – Asst. General Secretary

Rafiu Adewale Ayinde – Treasurer

Adeyinka Akeem Suleiman – Financial Secretary

Salvador Taoheed Ifedapo – Asst. Financial Secretary

Morufu Olasunkade Azeez – Public Relations Officer.

Madehin, while speaking on behalf of the new executive committee appreciated members for their support, confidence, unalloyed loyalty, prayers, and your contributions towards making this election/ affirmation a reality.”

The President-elect further encouraged members, “We need to let ourselves know that in the year 2022, LIGHTHOUSE PATHFINDERS platform shall strive to make itself more relevant in our daily livelihood by facilitating knowledge sharing and vital information dissemination – that could make our lives more productive.

“On this platform, we have participants that cut across varying ages and social strata e.g. retirees, young graduates, the professionals, politicians of different divides, intellectuals, and some of the “who is who” in Nigeria and Diasporas. We also have the young ones, many of whom are looking forward to making their lives more productive and impactful.

“This, we hope to achieve by appealing to each and every one of us on this platform to make ourselves relevant by contributing from our position of strength, hitherto, sharing deep-rooted knowledge and information about family and living, health and wellness, small business & investment tips, taxation, personal finances, insurance policies and several other topics that you deem fit to be added, and thus spice up the LIGHTHOUSE PATHFINDER

“No single person is an island of knowledge. Also, there’s nothing like too much of information. Hence, I appeal once again that you give tips, advice, and mentoring from your position of strength that will enlighten fellow platformers with that which they could benefit from.

While stating that his administration welcomes “constructive criticisms, advice, and suggestions to move the platform forward,” Madehin added that “these new Excos are going to be working Excos and we are open to new ideas, cooperation, and collaborations from all members.”

The Group, Lighthouse Pathfinders registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.

The association was established 5 Patriots with the altruistic disposition to promote and emplace good and responsible leadership and governance across the tiers of political structures in Nigeria.

To achieve this feat which has been elusive since independence, the Pathfinders envision to articulates an egalitarian society through the following overarching objectives:

1. To promote good governance and social justice.

2. To assist the government of the day in disseminating their programs that are of benefits to the masses.

3. To support the government when they are doing well and to criticize constructively when they are doing wrong and offer advices.
