1.) National Programme Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will carry out the following tasks:
>> Provide substantive input on criminal justice, terrorism prevention, and rule of law aspects for the planning, preparation, organization, and implementation of project activities related to the investigation of terrorism offences in Northeast and Middle Belt states of Nigeria. This will entail preparing substantive papers, draft concept notes, draft agendas, and working documents for project activities; contribute to the substantive delivery of project activities, including elaboration and delivery of presentations…

2.) Humanitarian Affairs Officer (Yobe)
Summary of key functions:
>> Ensure accurate Information Collection in support of Humanitarian Analysis and
>> Response, focusing on the achievement of the following results:
* Review incoming field reports, prepare summaries of field activities, and flag important issues to senior management
* Actively participate in the Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) and Humanitarian Needs Overview process, and HRP/HNO Mid-Year Review and End-year Review processes…

3.) Humanitarian Affairs Officer (Borno)
Duties and Responsibilities
>> The HAO is expected to have comprehensive knowledge of North East of Nigeria, UNOCHA operations, humanitarian partners, operations of the government, and NGOs.
>> As such the HAO provides the elements of institutional memory and local networking essential to the credibility and authority of the statements and documents provided by OCHA and the Deputy Humanitarian Coordinator.
>> They work with little supervision in the field, are expected to prepare concise reports and analysis, and are an integral part of the OCHA Team in Nigeria.
