Jeffery Ugiagbe, a 13-years old boy has been reported dead as a result of complications from anal sex injuries.
Gatekeepers News reports that Jeffrey’s father, Vincent Ugiagbe alleged that a middle-aged man, Ovie Otobo, who engages in anal sex with underage boys raped and led to the death of his son.
Vincent who disclosed this on Friday demanded justice for his late son.
The father of the deceased cried that his son’s promising future has been cut short by the “irresponsible act of a pervert.”
The late teenager’s father stressed that all efforts made to save his son’s life failed, therefore, Otobo has to be sentenced to death, and not life imprisonment.
According to him, “My son had a bright future; he was very intelligent, now all have been cut short because of the act of this irresponsible person.
“I made frantic effort to save the life of my son. I borrowed hugely from friends and commercial banks for the medical bills and he still passed on.
“I am calling on the government for justice for my son, I don’t want him to die in vain. I want him (perpetrator) sentenced to death and not life imprisonment.
Meanwhile, Edo Police Command earlier paraded the perpetrator, Otobo, where he confessed to raping underage boys in Benin City, including young Jeffery.
