Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise to 254,570

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise as 10 new cases were recorded by the NCDC on Tuesday.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new cases are from 2 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The NCDC noted that Edo State reported the highest infections of the day with 8 new cases, followed by Cross Rivers (2).

Till date, 254,570 cases have been confirmed, 249,090 cases have been discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

8 confirmed cases reported for Edo state for 28th February 2022.

2 confirmed & 9 discharged cases reported for Cross River for 28th February 2022.

6 states with 0 cases reported: Abia, Bauchi, Delta, Nasarawa, Rivers and Sokoto.
