Bride-To-Be Attacked By Her Own Daughter

Michelle Hannon, a bride-to-be has been attacked by her daughter and left with an everlasting scar on her face.

Gatekeepers News reports that Hannon was attacked at her engagement party by her daughter, Jessica Hannon who threw punches and glass bottles at her.

Jessica, 28, had organised a party for her mum to celebrate her engagement.

However, drunken Jessica later flew into a rage when her boyfriend was asked to leave the family gathering.

A court heard that the 28-year-old launched an attack on her own 49-year-old mum by punching and kicking her on the kitchen floor.

She, thereafter, threw a bottle and shards of glass flew into her mum’s face leaving her scarred for life.

According to Prosecutor Marian Lewis, Michelle was left needing stitches for the two-inch “V-shaped laceration to her cheek.”

Cardiff Crown Court heard the violence erupted at the victim’s home after the engagement party turned into an ‘all-day bender.’

Lewis said, “She arranged an engagement party for her mother at her mother’s home and there were members of the family and others present.

“It’s clear that a large amount of alcohol was consumed by various people at that party and at around 8.10 pm that evening there was some trouble between the complainant and the defendant’s partner who was asked to leave.

“She became involved in an argument with her mother in the kitchen as a result of which the defendant pushed her mother against a cupboard and her mother fell to the floor.

“There was punching and kicking of her mother’s body whilst she was on the floor.”

The court further heard that the daughter left the property while her mum escaped into the living room of the property but she returned and threw two bottles at the window.

Lewis said, “One bounced off the window and the other smashed and shards from the window then struck her mother causing injury to her face.”
