Covid-19: Nigeria Records 12 New Cases As Infection Hits 254,953

Nigeria has recorded 8 New Covid-19 cases and no death as infection hits 254,953.

Gatekeepers News reports that the confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 254,953 as 8 new cases and no death were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 12th of March 2022.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 249,340 cases have been discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.

According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 2 States, with Lagos State, South West Nigeria and Kwara State, North Central Nigeria sharing 4 each.

Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
