Gatekeepers News reports that the system collapse was confirmed in a public notice by Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC).
The notice reads: “Dear esteemed customers, we would like to inform you of another system collapse on the national grid which occurred at 5:10 p.m today (Tuesday).
“We are monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience.”
Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) also confirmed the development in a public notice.
Gatekeepers News reports that Tuesday’s system collapse is happening barely two days after the national grid collapsed at 10.40 a.m on Monday. Although, the Transmission Company of Nigeria was able to restore the grid at 12.20 p.m.
