Aspirants Roundtable: Adisa-Jaji Hails Former Senate President Bukola Saraki

An aspirant for the Kwara State House of Assembly (KWHA) Ilorin West North Constituency (Alanamu/Ajikobi Constituency), Azeez Adisa-Jaji has expressed his admiration for the qualitative leadership prowess of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

Gatekeepers News reports that Jaji in a statement he personally signed, described Saraki’s politics and governance as that of an intelligent leader with foresight and wisdom.

Jaji said this after Saraki called on a round table discussion of all the PDP aspirants into the KWHA and House of Representatives, to examine everyone’s preparation towards the party’s guidelines after the release of the PDP’s timetable for the forthcoming election.

Jaji said, “The meeting was a standard one with intelligent contributions from all aspirants. It was centered upon the establishment of transparency, level playing ground and zoning which were featured with consideration for equity, fairness, and compassion for all aspirants irrespective of the level of our contest or our constituency.

“Today’s meeting was not only an avenue to create peace, stability, and consciousness amongst all party members who double as aspirants into various positions, it’s also at the meeting where I reinforced that Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has his express concerns for youths and women inclusiveness in governance in an enormous and genuine quantity.

“It will be reasonable for us to grow through time and make bold steps that will be generational.

“We can therefore be generational if we can afford to give 80% of these positions to youths while we also consider reasonable inclusiveness of women in our decision-making processes and also in elective position.

“Having been enticed by his eloquent narratives on the importance of consolidated efforts of our people, I was also able to deduced that Saraki prioritizes and prefers good and responsible governance to personal interest as he explained how to best position the Kwara legislative arm to channel its constitutional function with guides from his wealth of experience as the President of the 8th National Assembly.”
