Infrastructure Is The Easiest Way Wealth Is Legitimately Distributed In An Economy - Fashola
Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has said he is running for president of his home as the numbers of aspirants vying to rule the country continue to increase.

Gatekeepers News reports that there have been speculations that Fashola, a former governor of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, will run for president.

Also, some support groups had taken campaigns to parts of the country, asking him to join the 2023 presidential race.

Fashola, however, declared that he is running for the president of his home instead and also denied having any affiliation with the support groups calling him to rule the nation.

According to Tolu Ogunlesi, special assistant on digital/new media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Fashola made his decision known when he was asked by a journalist about his plans for 2023.

“A journalist asks BRF about 2023.

“A: I’m running for the President of my home. I’m going to Lagos. My wife and children are waiting for their President. All those who want to run, I wish them the very best of luck… For those looking for headlines, I have disappointed you,” he tweeted.
