A 3-year-old boy has reportedly been fatally shot during a road rage argument at a Dallas intersection.

Gatekeepers News  reports that the boy’s mother, Lacravionne Wright said her son died after being fatally-shot in the face, but cops say the details of the murder ‘aren’t adding up.’

She had took her son Jalexus Washington to a local hospital on Monday with a fatal gunshot wound to his head after an alleged confrontation on the road led to the gruesome shooting.

According to the boy’s mother the incident occurred at an intersection of Whitehurst and Arbor Park drives, when a man in a dark-colored sedan began arguing with her, before opening fire.

Cops say they are yet to locate a crime scene and have gotten conflicting reports about where and how the shooting happened, police sources told WFAA.com.

They have yet to make any arrests, and their investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

The mother told police that the confrontation involved a black man wearing a red shirt who was driving a dark-colored sedan, NBC Dallas reported.

But police sources say that something about the shooting ‘isn’t adding up’ and Wright was questioned for hours by investigators at a Dallas police station for more information.

Police, who are asking the public for help for any details on the shooting, examined the mother’s car, which did not appear to have any bullet holes, before towing it from the hospital parking lot.

After speaking to police, the three-year-old’s mother took to social media to share how completely devastated she was.

“I’m hurt! I’m weak! I’m lost ! I’m going to go crazy! I can’t bare this! My baby! My baby! My baby! My baby! I’m sick ! Come back! I need you twin,’ Wright wrote in a heartbreaking post. ‘My baby y’all! I’m not okay I’ll never be okay! I love you so much! You knew that! Lord I’ll never be okay! I can’t take this! Lord ! Lord! He was ONLY THREE. Give him BACK!”

Wright asked that people give her space as she processes the loss of her child who she said took his last breaths in her arms.

“I’m f***d up ! I carried you nine months son! No way you check out on me like that! I WAS ONLY GIVEN THREE YEARS,’ she wrote. ‘Please don’t ask if I’m okay! I’m not okay! I won’t be okay! MY BABY TOOK HIS LAST BREATH IN MY ARMS. Just pray for us! We need it! My baby”
