Kasimu Otono Withdraws Reps Bid To Support Oshiomhole For Senate

Barr. Kasimu Otono has withdrawn from the House of Representatives race to support Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole for Senate.

Gatekeepers News reports that Otono announced his decision on Monday to ‘temporarily’ withdraw his aspiration to run for House of Representatives (Etsako Federal Constituency) and support Oshiomhole’s senatorial ambition and the All Progressives Congress (APC) after “due consultations with Party leaders, critical stakeholders, friends, associates and family.”

He thanked his supporters and promised not to let them down whenever he is called upon to serve.

The statement he personally signed reads:

“Words cannot explain how i feel witnessing how you all came together to support my political aspiration,indeed i am overwhelmed by the show of love from you all it goes a long way to show we can still believe in ourselves by supporting a true political course.

However, after due consultations with Party leaders, critical stakeholders, friends, associates and family i have decided to * TEMPORARILY WITHDRAW* my aspiration to run for House of Representatives (Etsako Federal Constituency) and support the senatorial ambition of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and our great Party APC.

I want to assure you all that this struggle is for all of us and not a personal one as I believe with people like you all Nigeria can still be a better place hence my venture into Politics to atleast represent the interest of the common man.

Lastly, From the bottom of my heart i want to thank my family, leaders of our great Party particularly Club 3 of Etsako West LGA, friends and associates for believing in me and endorsing me to run for Federal House of Representatives (Etsako Federal Constituency), I promise not to let you down whenever you call on me to serve as i also appreciate your support, prayers and advice, May God meet you all at your point of need, IJN, Amen.”
