Roma have won their first Europa Conference League final, beating Feyenoord 1-0 in Tirana.
Gatekeepers News reports that Jose Mourinho has won his fifth European title at the Arena Kombetare.
Mourinho had earlier won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, the UEFA Cup with Porto, and the Europa League with Manchester United.
He has once again delivered a European trophy to the Giallorossi which was their first European trophy since the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1972.
Although Feyenoord made a fast start to the match as they established a stranglehold on possession, they struggled to make meaningful chances and after 20 minutes, neither side had mustered up a shot.
Finally, Roma’s first shot of the match opened the scoreline in the 32nd minute.
It was pure emotion at the final whistle for Roma whose long wait for a European title has just ended.
Mourinho, while celebrating opened his palm widely to show his five fingers in the air, pointing out that he has now won five European competitions, staying unbeaten in major European finals he has appeared.
