The governor of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been elected as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general election.
Gatekeepers News reports the result was announced during the primary which held at the Mobolaji Johnson arena, formerly known as Onikan stadium, on Lagos Island.
Sanwo-Olu secured 1,170 votes out of a total of 1,198 accredited voters from across the state.
