Nigerian female rapper, Bukola Folayan popularly known as BOUQUI has bagged a doctorate.
Gatekeepers News reports that BOUQUI while announcing this on her Instagram page, said it was a double celebration for her as her mum is also celebrating her 80th birthday.
The Nigeria rapper who majorly sings gospel music wrote:
“Dr. BOUQUI. I’m missing my my mom’s 80th birthday….All my siblings and cousins are already in Nigeria but I guess this is a good enough reason to miss it. I got my green card on her bday and now I’m bagging my PhD almost a decade after, also on her birthday. “May” 28th. “May”be I’ll get married in Mmmind ya biznezz… We kept it from her and this morning, my brother said,”Mom, We have a surprise for you, Bouqui is a doctor, she is getting her PhD today”….and she cried.”
