Kärntner Straße, a major street in Vienna, Austria, has been blocked by the police in order to capture a family of crows that have been attacking passersby.

Gatekeepers News reports that the police and wildlife services on Wednesday morning stood behind the barrier and tried to catch the birds that are loose in the inner city.

Two of the mother bird’s young have been captured by wildlife service crews as police officers ensured passers-by were safe from the aggressive mother crow.

“Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to catch the crow mom either. She flew away from us. If someone else manages it, we ask that the animal be delivered to us in a box,” a wildlife service employee said.

According to a report by Heute, there were repeated aggressive air attacks last week by birds on passers-by on Kärntner Strasse near the Hotel Sacher.

The medium explained that the crow family is currently nesting directly above the entrance of the posh hotel and attacks passers-by who apparently step too close to their home.
