UK Condemns Killing Of Worshippers In Ondo Church

British Government has condemned the killing of worshippers on Sunday at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, in Ondo state, Southwest Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that no fewer than 25 worshippers, including women and children, were killed by the gunmen who attacked the church.

The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, while reacting to the incident via Twitter, condemned the attack and extended her sympathies to the victims and their families.

She tweeted, “Terrible news today from Owo in Ondo State. I condemn those responsible for this horrific crime. I extend my sympathies to all those affected.”
