Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Southwest has addressed his Ogun State counterpart, Governor Dapo Abiodun as the “The Eleyi of Ogun State.”
Gatekeepers News reports that Fayemi introduced Abiodun as “The Eleyi of Ogun State” at the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship rally in Ekiti State on Tuesday.
While introducing the Ogun governor at the rally, Fayemi said he was told that he did not introduce Abiodun properly as the “Eleyi of Ogun state”.
The Ekiti Governor said, “I have just been informed that I did not introduce governor Dapo Abiodun properly as the Eleyi of Ogun state.”
Immediately after the Fayemi’s comment, the APC chieftains standing on the podium, including Abiodun, started laughing.
The title is a play on Bola Tinubu’s reference to Governor Abiodun while the former was addressing Ogun State delegate during his presidential campaign visit to the State earlier this month.
