A wanted suspected terrorist, who escaped from the Kuje prison following the attack on the facility last week, has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with drugs in Abuja.

Gatekeepers News reports that the fleeing terrorist, Suleiman Sidi was arrested in the early hours of Monday at the Area 1 motor park, in the Federal Capital Territory while attempting to board a commercial vehicle to Maiduguri, Borno State.

Kuje Jailbreak: NDLEA Arrests Wanted Terrorist With Drugs

NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi, in a statement, said during preliminary the suspect confirmed he was remanded at the Medium Security Correctional Centre in Kuje for terrorism and robbery.

NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (Retd) has directed that the wanted suspect should be immediately handed over to the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
