Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is the government agency with the mandate to coordinate the surveillance, detection and response to infectious disease outbreaks.
NCDC is recruiting to fill the following positions;
1.) Project Manager
Location: Nigeria
Eligibility Requirements
The applicant must possess the following:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health or Epidemiology, with at least eight (8) years post-qualification experiences as an Epidemiologist M&E or public health research practice;
- Excellent English Writing and Communication Skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Sound time management skills and capacity to balance competing priorities;
- Work well in a team environment and able to work independently;
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines;
- Strong computers skills including expertise in Word, Power point, and other relevant computer packages and platforms.
2.) Project Officer
Location: Nigeria
Eligibility Requirements
The applicant must possess the following:
- First Degree in Biological and Medical Sciences (B.Sc in Microbiology, Biology, Zoology, Biochemistry; MBBS, MBBCh, etc with at least a year of service with experience in Public Health Institute or Public Health Projects.
- Excellent English Writing and Communication Skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Sound time management skills and capacity to balance competing priorities;
- Work well in a team environment and able to work independently;
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines;
- Strong computers skills including expertise in Word, Power point, and other relevant computer packages and platforms.
