Lagos state government has extended the ban on the operations of commercial motorcycles in four additional LGAs in the state.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Lagos Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde announced the development during a press briefing on Thursday.
The affected LGAs are Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Shomolu, and Mushin.
In May, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, had announced a total ban on commercial motorcycles operation in six LGAs, which include Ikeja, Surulere, Eti Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island and Apapa.
