Abdulrasheed Bello, Nigerian singer and actor better known as JJC Skillz, has celebrated his estranged wife, Funke Akindele, on the occasion of her 45th birthday.
Gatekeepers News reports that on Wednesday, JJC Skillz shared a video of one of his romantic moments with the actress while sending her birthday wishes.
He also prayed that their children will be “a blessing to generations.”
“Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji @funkejenifaakindele. I pray our children embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Today is your day celebrate and live to the fullest Long life and prosperity.”
Funke and JJC Skillz got married in 2016 and welcomed a set of twin boys in 2018.
In June 2022, JJC Skillz announced his separation from Funke over “irreconcilable differences”.
He said the last two years of their marriage “have been difficult and as such, they had resolved to part ways.”
The actress turned politician is, however, yet to issue any statement regarding the crisis in her marriage. Funke is also the running mate of Abdul-Azeez Adediran, the Lagos PDP governorship candidate for 2023 election.
Funke recently excluded JJC’s surname from her campaign poster.
