Queen Elizabeth II has been placed under medical supervision at Balmoral after doctors became concerned for her health.
Gatekeepers News reports that Buckingham Palace released a statement regarding her health as people became worried about her as she steps back from public duties.
The statement from the Palace confirmed that doctors are monitoring Queen Elizabeth’s health.
It read: “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
The Queen had also postponed her Privy Council meeting last night after being advised by doctors to rest.
Earlier this week, she met outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson before appointing his successor Liz Truss at Balmoral instead at Buckingham Palace where the event usually takes place.
Truss tweeted that she was “deeply concerned” about the news of Queen Elizabeth’s health.
She said: “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.
