Tennis Legend, Roger Federer is to retire from professional tennis after next week’s Laver Cup.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Swiss Sportsman made this known in a post on his Twitter account on Thursday.
“The Laver Cup next week in London will be my final ATP event,” the tweet read.
Federer has been out of action since a quarter-final loss at Wimbledon in 2021 before undergoing another bout of knee surgery.
The 41-year-old is a proud winner of 20 Grand Slam titles.
