EPL Round-Up: Ronaldo Scores Historic 700th Club Goal As Arsenal Remains Top Of Table

Cristiano Ronaldo scored Manchester United’s 700th goal in the clash between the club and Everton on Sunday.

Gatekeepers News reports that Ronaldo scored the winning goal as United came from a goal down to defeat Everton 2-1 in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at Goodison Park.

A few minutes to the end of the second half, VAR was called into action in to chalk off a Marcus Rashford goal.

However, Erik ten Hag’s side comfortably saw out the encounter for a crucial win that moves them to fifth on the EPL log.

Earlier in the day, Arsenal returned to the top of the EPL standing following a deserved competitive 3-2 win over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Arsenal 58th second before Bukayo Saka’s brace ensured victory despite Darwin Nunez and Roberto Firmino scoring to peg the Gunners back twice.

Following eight wins from nine matches, Mikel Arteta’s side have amassed 24 points and are one point ahead of Manchester City, the EPL champions.
