Kanye West’s Twitter and Instagram Accounts Locked Over ‘Offensive’ Posts

Instagram and Twitter have locked the accounts of Hip Hop Artiste, Kanye West for allegedly violating its policies.

Gatekeepers News reports that The controversial US rapper was first restricted by Instagram on Friday after which he took to Twitter, where he tweeted on Saturday for the first time since 2020.

According to AP, spokespersons for both social media giants on Sunday said the singer shared messages that violated their policies.

In a series of tweets, West put out a photo of a hat with the caption 2024.

Then, the ‘Jesus is King’ crooner shared a picture of himself with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, accusing him of kicking him off Instagram.

In a follow-up tweet, West wrote “death con 3 on Jewish People” — in what appeared to be a reference to the US military readiness condition scale known as DEFCON.

“The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” the rapper added.

The tweet has since been deleted by Twitter for “violating the Twitter rules.”

The restrictions mean the rapper won’t be able to post on Instagram and Twitter until the suspension ends.

The development comes a few days after West shared a screenshot of his heated conversation with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on Instagram — that didn’t sit well with the American Jewish committee.

The rapper earlier faced a wave of criticism after wearing a shirt reading “White Lives Matter” during his surprise Yeezy Season 9 fashion show in Paris.
