Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Southern Nigeria, has endorsed his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for a second term in office.
Gatekeepers News reports that Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile, disclosed this in a terse statement on Tuesday.
Akosile wrote, “Breaking: Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike endorses Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for second term in office. Details later.”
This clearly indicated that Wike being a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not supporting Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor whom the party endorsed in the state.
