Onitsha Fire: Nigerians React As Fire Service Truck Arrives Scene Without Water Hose

Goods worth millions destroyed and several injured as fire raze Onitsha market in Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria.

Footage discovered by Gatekeepers News showed how traders battle the fire by fetching water from a parked fire service truck.

The fire service truck, branded ‘Anambra State Fire Service’ could not salvage the situation as no hose was sighted at the scene of fire.

A Twitter handle with the name Ibrahim Tahlr said, “May GOD help us end this calamity, may Allah bring back their lost valuables.

“But my question is this, does that means the fire engine cannot be use directly to put off the fire in Onitsha market?”
