Nigeria Police Force have acquired three high-powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones) to aid in checkmating criminal activities.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali, made this known in a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Wednesday.
Alkali said the newly-acquired drones will assist in monitoring crime.
The statement read, “The newly acquired drones will surely assist the Police in monitoring active crime scenes,
coordinating response operations, and providing armed aerial support to officers on reconnaissance operations.”
