JUST IN: {N-Power} ICPC Grants D’banj Bail On Self Recognition

Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has granted famous Nigerian singer and songwriter Oladapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj bail.

Gatekeepers News reports that D’banj was released on Friday after almost 72 hours in ICPC custody.

Although his lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi said D’banj was released on self-recognition, he didn’t confirm if the ICPC granted the singer administrative bail.

Olajengbesi also stated that the ICPC didn’t trace any evidence of fraudulent activity to the singer. That claim could however not be independently verified at this time.

The lawyer said, “Nothing incriminating was found on him. He was released on self-recognition. Right now, we expect the ICPC to give a letter of clearance to Dbanj because, as we have always said, he is innocent of the charges brought against him.”
